Our Facilities
Safariland Cottages is not just a guest house. We provide facilities that enable you to use our cottages as a base for exploring the heart of Safari country – The Northern Circuit of Tanzania. With Ngorongoro a day trip away, and Kilimanjaro within easy reach, Safariland Cottages is perfectly placed to allow you to plan the holiday of a lifetime.
Daily housekeeping
Each day your bed will be turned down and your room will be swept and cleaned. If for any reason you would not like our staff to do this then please let us know.
Private Rooms, each with ensuite bathroom.
Each cottage is divided into two separate rooms, each with its own bathroom. Our property is intended to be a sanctuary of peace, which means that your privacy is important.
Laundry Service
Many of our guests stay for an extended period of time, which makes our laundry service a must have for convenience and comfort. We pride ourselves on creating a home away from home, so there is no excuse for not having freshly laundered clothes waiting for you each morning.
Licensed Bar and Entertaining space
Our ‘Roundhouse’ bar, private for our guests only, is the perfect place to chill out in, catch a little TV and unwind. The Roundhouse can also be reconfigured for conferences, presentations and for live entertainment!
Transfer Services
Whether you need picking up from Kilimanjaro airport or want to head out for a night on the town, our transfer bus is there to enable you to get around.

Northern Tanzania is the ultimate Safari Destination and Arusha is in the heart of this iconic landscape. Safariland Cottages can plan and organise your dream Safari to some of the most famous destinations for wildlife watching in the world.
Long or short Stays
We have no minimum stay so if you are passing through Arusha do look us up to make your short stop a comfortable one.
Special rates are available for long term bookings, especially for those working with some of the NGO’s and charity organisations based in Arusha. Check with your head office to see if we already have a rates agreement and if not, get them to call us!
